Grade Three Blog

Good Afternoon Grade 3 Families! There is no school next Friday and it will be a busy week we will not be doing a spelling test! They have been working very hard and creating amazing culture presentations. Thank you for sharing family photos, treats and artifacts with us! We are starting to add money into word problems, which we will continue until Christmas! It is both fun and challenging for the students so far. This week ahead students are invited to participate in spirit week at Ron Southern School by wearing the following special items each day, if they choose to: Monday: Sweater Day Tuesday: Hat Day Wednesday: Matching Day Thursday: PJ Day Reminder Thursday is our last day of school before winter break. Hello, Grade 3 Families! Social /Science Our cultural presentations have definitely been the highlight of our week.  The children have put forth so much effort. We have been truly able to appreciate getting to know our classmates on a deeper level.  Through this process, we have been able to define the differences between what culture and traditions are.  We now understand these words and see how they apply throughout the world.  Thank you for helping your child with this project and we look forward to seeing the rest of them. Your child brought home a letter with their google account information to show you their work on a Social presentation about their culture.
